Document Description
The proposed project is in Kern County on State Route 204 located at post mile 6.50, including the Airport Drive intersection from Buck Owens Boulevard to Nadine Lane. The purpose of this project is to repair and replace the existing pavement. The project is needed to address the deteriorated pavement conditions at the Airport Drive intersection from Buck Owens Boulevard to Nadine Lane. This project proposes to cold plane 0.25 foot of the existing asphalt concrete pavement and replace it with 0.25 foot Hot Mix Asphalt (Type A). Loop detectors will be replaced. This project will not require the acquisition of new right-of-way.
