Document Description
A SITE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT to remove debris and vegetation from the El Capitan Dam Spillway, The project Is mandated by the Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD), part of the State of California Department of Water Resources, to remove the accumulated vegetation and debris from the spillway to allow for unimpeded spillway flow and completion of requisite annual assessments of the spillway by the DSOD. The project would remove approximately 58,900 cubic yards of debris and approximately six' acres of vegetation to comply with the mandate from the DSOD debris above. The 9.80-acre El Capitan Dam Is located In central San Diego County, northwest of the community of Alpine and northeast of the community of Flinn Springs in San Diego County, California.
