Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), approved an extension request, in accordance with California Code of Regulations, title 22, Section 66270.42(e)(4), dated April, 28, 2022 from Veolia ES Technical Solutions LLC Azusa (Veolia or Facility) to extend a previously approved temporary authorization to allow the temporary storage of RCRA solid and liquid wastes in non-permitted units and hold or store incoming waste in trailers and railcars for additional up to 10-days (up to 20-days total) pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Section 66270.40. On April 29, 2022, DTSC approved Veolia’s temporary authorization extension request to authorize the temporary storage activities for an additional period of 180 calendar days, which will expire on October 26, 2022.
