The nature and purpose of the proposed project is to re-grade, improve the recharge efficiency of an existing 8-acre basin located within the City of Lindsay. The Project would also connect the basin to another LID pipeline via +/- 850 LF of new pipeline to divert CVP surface water to the basin. The Project is located within the Kaweah Sub-basin. The Project consists of an existing stormwater basin (existing facility) that will be regraded to increase infiltration, but will remain the same size. To recharge Central Valley Project (CVP) surface water, the Project will require a pipeline to be constructed that will be less than one (1) mile (+/- 850 linear feet).
