Document Description
The existing French Meadows South Shore Water Supply has inadequate yield and needs replacement. The facilities are required to meet the terms and conditions of the license issued by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the Middle Fork American River Project, including Forest Service Section 4(e) Condition No. 34 and to serve needs of recreationists using the French Meadows Campground; French Meadows Picnic Area; and French Meadows Boat Ramp. The proposed project consists of decommissioning the existing water supply system, and the installation of a new vertical well, water storage tank, waterline to interconnect, prefabricated concrete building with communications antenna and access road.
