Document Description
DWR and Contractor will backfill an erosion area at Bethany Reservoir parking lot. The erosion area is approximately 15 ft wide by 20 ft long by up to 5 feet deep. Up to 60 CY will be used to backfill erosion area along main parking lot shoulder and adjacent slope. Contractor will use an excavator to clear existing vegetation and debris from erosion location. A front loader and dump truck will be used to load, and haul excavated material from site. The contractor will use existing paved maintenance roads and designated parking areas. All work is within DWR right of way.

The State Water Project provides significant and critical services to many Californians. This project is exempt because it involves routine maintenance activities. This project will not result in impacts to special status species or habitat. The Categorical Exemption Class 1 will be used for CEQA compliance as this activity will be implemented without any significant environmental impacts.
