The City of San Diego determined that the project would qualify to be categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to 153b1e (Existing Facilities).to allow for a Coastal Development Permit for a remodel and addition to an existing single-family residence. The proposed project Is a 1,403 square-foot addition (Including garage) to an existing 2,067 square foot home with garage for a total of 3,470 square-foot single family residence on a 0.15-acre site located at 14146 Recuerdo Drive, zoned RS-1-6. Since the proposed project Is an addition to an existing home and will not increase the structure more than 50 percent, the exemption Is appropriate.
