The proposed ordinance amendments seek to linking a home occupation to a resident, permits required, simplify the list of allowed activities, allow up to (5) on-site employees, amend the time of operation between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., including addressing additional items as recommended by the Board of Supervisors including but not limited to allowing limited retail under Home Occupation, code enforcement, business license requirements, and adding cottage food operations in unincorporated San Benito County. Proposed amendments include repeal existing sections 25.29.090 to 25.29.104 in their entirety and replace with the following.
