Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a highway maintenance project at four (4) culverts in Amador County on State Route 124 at post miles 0.17, two culverts at 4.27, and 6.97. The scope of work includes replacing the existing culverts and installing flared end sections to the outlets and inlets and installing rock slope protection at the outlet at 6.97. All work will occur within the State right-of-way. The purpose of the project is to replace damaged and deficient culverts along the state route. Replacement and treatment will reduce erosion, inhibit seepage, retain the fill, and stabilize the culvert for future storms, inclement weather, and debris.
