The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20, Section 66270.40, is issuing a Class 1* Permit Modification for TFX Aviation Incorporated Newbury Park Facility (TFX or Facility). Some of the buildings on the property have been sold or transferred to new owners. As a result, the list of real property owners has been updated by the property management company. The real property owners do not operate the facility. Please note that the Owner of the Facility remains the same (Teleflex, Inc.), and the Operator of the Facility remains the same (TFX Aviation, Inc.).

Reasons for Exemption
DTSC has determined none of the exceptions to the categorical exemptions apply to this project, as described in Public Resources Code Section 21084(c), (d), and (e), and California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15300.2. The Class 1* Permit Modification is consistent with actions taken by regulatory agencies, as authorized by state or local ordinance, to assure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of the environment where the regulatory process involves procedures for protection of the environment.
