Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has partnered with the City of Gridley and Butte County Association of Governments (BCAG) to develop this project. This proposed pavement rehabilitation project is located on State Route (SR) 99 in the City of Gridley in Butte County, between post miles (PMs) R3.1 and 5.0. Improvements include the addition and enhancement of sidewalk on the east side of SR 99 and upgrade of the non-standard curb ramps to American with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) standards. Furthermore, the project would address other highway appurtenances such as upgrading drainage facilities and adding new Transportation Management System (TMS) elements including bike loop detectors, a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera, street lighting, and installation of fiber optic conduits.
