Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number SAC-51184-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sacramento County - Office of Planning & Environmental Review. The project is limited to the installation of a sewer line that will cross underneath the Sacramento Drainage Canal and Stone Lake Slough. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipeline would be installed under the Sacramento Drainage Canal box culvert and Stone Lake Slough via horizontal directional drilling (HDD). An approximately 1,610-foot-long horizontal hole would be required to span the Stone Lake Slough crossing and an approximately 400-foot-long horizontal hole would be required to span the Sacramento Drainage Canal crossing. Both HDDs will have a minimum clearance of 20 feet underneath the channel beds.
