Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Hood Septic Conversion Project. The Project includes The Project includes installation of approximately 28,794 linear feet of four or five-inch diameter forcemain from the community of Hood to the City of Elk Grove, along Hood-Franklin Road, Franklin Boulevard, and Bilby Road. Individual property owners will be given the opportunity to connect to public sewer service via individual lateral connections from the forcemain to existing structures. Upon connecting to public sewer service, existing septic tanks will be abandoned in place. The scope of work for connection of private residences to the public sewer is limited to the septic tank and below-grade pipe installation and does not involve any work to homes or above-ground structures.
