Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program is financing the El Adobe Property Owners Assoc. and Lamont PUD Consolidation, Part 2 (Project). The proposed Project will replace Wells 5, 11 and 12, equipping each with vertical turbine pumps, motor discharge piping, electrical and controls and connecting them to the existing distribution system, and install a supervisory control and data acquisition system for remote monitoring and control of the Lamont Public Utility District’s facilities. If needed well head treatment may be added. To supply the El Adobe Property Owner’s Association (EAPOA) approximately 11,000 feet of ten-inch diameter water transmission pipeline will be installed within the existing disturbed right-of-way, and an approximately 20,000 feet of eight-inch diameter water distribution line will be installed to connect into the ten-inch main line to create a new looped distribution system, replacing the existing EAPOA water system. Wells 1 and 2 will be abandoned, EAPOAs 25,000- and 44,000-gallon water storage tanks will be demolished, existing booster pump stations at Well 1 and 2 will be removed and 81 water connections be installed to the existing water meters.
