Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project was reviewed for potential exemptions and was found to satisfy the standards of Class 1 of Section 15301 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines. A Class 1 exemption consists of restoration or rehabilitation of deteriorated or damaged facilities to meet current standards of public health and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the items replaced.
