Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-RIV-31353-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project Applicants, Riverside County Transportation Department (Permittee), as represented by Jan Bulinski. The Project is limited to impacts to 14 unnamed ephemeral drainages from the extension and/or reconstruction of the existing culvert crossings associated with the widening of the median and shoulders along Gilman Springs Road. The Streambed Alteration Agreement is being issued regarding the Project’s impacts to fish and wildlife resources subject to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq. and associated compensatory mitigation requirements. The Project will temporarily impact 0.628 acres and permanently impact 0.591 acres of fish and wildlife resources pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq. To compensate for temporary impacts to 0.628 acres of fish and wildlife resources subject to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq., the Project Applicant will restore 0.628 acres onsite. To compensate for permanent impacts to 0.591 acres of fish and wildlife resources subject to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq., the Project Applicant shall purchase no less than 1.773-acres of Reestablishment credits through Riverpark Mitigation Bank, or through permittee responsible mitigation at an approved location within Western Riverside County.
