The project site is located in the Town of Los Altos Hills along Duval Way, Elena Road, Padre Court, a private property (Seton) and Josefa Lane. The site is generally located south of I-280 and north and west of Foothill College in a rural residential neighborhood consisting of single-family homes on large lots. The proposed project is to replace existing water mains to improve efficiency and reliability of potable water service in Los Altos Hills, California. The proposed improvements are planned improvements included in the District's 2018 Capital Improvement Program. Many of the mains to be replaced were installed in the 1960s and are susceptible to breaks.
