Remove and dispose the existing damaged TRACC attenuator and construct the new smart TL-3 attenuator located on Westbound Route 4 at postmile 45.56 and remove and replace the damaged attenuator on Eastbound Route 4 at postmile 47.7 in Discovery Bay in Contra Costa County. Both attenuators were damaged by traveling motorists and jeopardize the public. All proposed work will take place within the Caltrans right of way (ROW).
