Reasons for Exemption
Class 6 exempts actions for data collection and resource evaluation which do no result in significant impacts to an environmental resource. The purpose of the project is to collect valuable data for the safety of levees/infrastructure during earthquakes. The temporarily impacted area will be approx. 4'x4'. DWR has evaluated cultural and biological resources and has determined the project will not result in significant impacts.
