Document Description
The restoration grant will help fund NPS restoration of unauthorized off-road driving in Death Valley National Park in the following locations: Badwater Road, Eureka Dunes Road, North Highway, Racetrack Playa, Ubehebe Crater, and Westside Road. Restoration activities include non-motorized raking, digging, picking, sweeping, and watering to re-stabilize the raked substrate; sites will be monitored. NPS will install temporary signage, as needed, and conduct public outreach to prevent further illegal OHV use.
