Document Description
Caltrans District 9 is proposing a guardrail replacement project in Mono County. The project proposes to replace legacy metal beam guardrail with Midwest guardrail (and in-line terminal systems) to enhance safety measures. The legacy safety devices have reached the end of their service life. The work includes removing guardrail, with minor grading and soil backfilling for constructability purposes (no soil imported or exported). All work will be performed within the existing pavement and shoulder backing with no new construction. No vegetation or dirt will be disturbed.
