Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0086-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Los Angeles County Public Works (County). The project is limited to a single mowing event to remove vegetation in a prescribed area inside the existing Thompson Creek Dam’s basin and surrounding developed areas. The project is intended as a maintenance activity to ensure the flood control facility operates properly to protect downstream communities and conserve water via increased capacity for local water supply.
