The trailhead is in the vicinity of the Boulder Creek drainage and Eagle Peak, which are located between Santa Ysabel and Descanso, California. The trailhead would be constructed at the junction of Boulder Creek Road and Cedar Creek Road, an area known locally as the “Turntable.” It is located approximately 40 miles from El Cajon and 54 miles from San Diego in San Diego County.
