Document Description
The Santa Barbara Campus is proposing to demolish a dilapidated building on the University’s West Campus. Building 7900, originally constructed in ~1957 as a Boys’ Residence for the Deveraux Ranch School, is located east of the eastern portion of circular Devereaux Way; West Campus Lane and Building 7910 are directly east of Building 7900. Building 7900 is currently unoccupied, “red tagged,” and has not been used for over 10 years. The building is severely dilapidated and requires demolition. It is an approximately 13,700 gross square foot, single-story, wood framed building with stucco on the exterior and a built-up roof with a concrete slab. The concrete slab would remain.
