Document Description
The proposed project will involve installing one 30,000-gallon water tank on NEU Station 61-Loma Rica state property and expanding the southeast parking area by adding four additional parking spots. The existing Browns Valley Irrigation District (BVID) pipes running along Loma Rica Road will be plumbed to the new tank by BVID free-of-charge. Tank will be placed on a gravel pad in NW corner of parcel. A 12-foot-wide road will be installed from Loma Rica Road to the Station’s lower parking lot to increase ingress and egress of equipment and water tank usage. Less than 1 acre of soil will be disrupted for all project work. Disrupted areas will be backfilled to original grade, which will prevent any change in drainage pattern. Six trees along north edge of parcel will be removed to provided space for overhead and underground utility lines.
