Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SBR-21610-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison.
The project includes the repair of three facilities: South Fork Sandbox, Black Wheel Creek Spanning Pipeline, and San Gorgonio Lower Flowline No. 1. The South Fork Sandbox will be rebuilt at approximately the same dimensions and will connect to two 18-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes that will carry water from the Sandbox to Lower Flowline No. 1. The Black Wheel Creek Spanning Pipeline will be removed and replaced with two 18-inch steel pipes, in the same location. San Gorgonio Lower Flowline No. 1 will be repaired where the flowline extends from the South Fork Sandbox to the Raywood Flat Turnout. The concrete flow line will be kept in place, but its water conveyance function will be replaced with dual 18-inch HDPE pipes.
