The project consists of a 3.0-acre area within Laguna Laurel Ecological Reserve, Laguna Beach, California, dominated by nonnative, invasive grasses and forbs that have generated a layer of thatch that covers the project site. Project activities will include pre-construction biological, archaeological and paleontological surveys, on-site monitoring as needed during implementation, site preparation, and native plant procurement and establishment.
