Document Description
Issue a Right-of-Entry (ROE) to People’s Self Help Housing (PSHH) to Pismo State Beach property for development of an adjacent parcel (at APN 005-242-064). PSHH will:
• Install, by hand, a temporary perimeter fence that will extend approximately 10 feet onto State property for the mutual purposes of safety and security. The fence and posts will either be stabilized with sandbags or the fence posts will be installed into the ground; and
• Remove six (6) identified trees (2 Monterey pine and 4 iron bark eucalyptus) from state property and replace with appropriate native woody/vegetation material approved by the state. PSHH will stump grind any remaining tree material to ground level and remove all large woody related material with any remaining smaller chipped material left on site.
All work conducted pursuant to this ROE and related project work will comply with all state and federal environmental laws, including but not limited to CEQA, NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, Section 5024 of the Public Resources Code, and conditions specified by this ROE and other permitting agencies.

Project consists of minor alterations in land use limitations in areas with an average slope of less than 20% that does not result in any changes in land use or density and is included as “issuance of temporary use permits” and “issuance of easements and permits” in the Department of Parks and Recreation’s list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR §15300.4. There are no exceptions to the exemptions that apply.
