OC Waste & Recycling is proposing to construct and operate a 230 ton per day composting operation called the Valencia Greenery at the active Olinda Alpha Landfill, which is located at 1942 Valencia Avenue, Brea, CA 92823. The composting operation will be located on a 15.3-acre area of the landfill that is completely disturbed. The proposed composting operation will allow the County and incorporated cities to divert organic waste materials from landfill disposal, in compliance with recent State mandates.
