The project amends the City of Piedmont's General Plan, including the Land Use Element and other elements, and amends the Piedmont City Code to implement the City's 2023-2031 Housing Element, to allow for the capacity to build housing in accordance with the Regional Housing Needs Allocation assigned to Piedmont. On February 20, 2024, the City Council adopted the General Plan amendments and introduced an ordinance amending the City Code.
