Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Procession Code Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approve two Cannabis Licenses submitted on 11/12/2020 and 03/28/2021, by Somaholistics. Somaholistics applied for a cannabis distribution and retail nonstorefront business. The proposed project will operate a cannabis retail nonstorefront and distribution operation out of an existing facility located at 1121 HOWARD ST, SAN FRANCISCO, CA 94103(-3921). The applicant has proposed to use an existing building that is 2,700 sq.ft. Of that building 238 sq.ft. is used for the retail nonstorefront activities and 2115 sq. ft. is used for distribution activities.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is a Class 3 Categorical Exemption project. Class 3 Categorical Exemptions consist of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures; and the conversion of existing small structures from one use to another where only minor modifications are made in the exterior of the structure. None of the exceptions to the exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply to the Project.
