To prevent deterioration and extend the life of pavement on SR-1 from the I-5 interchange to San Juan Creek Bridge, the project proposes to remove and replace 0.15 foot of existing pavement with new Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt on SR-1 in the City of Dana Point. Work also includes replacement of existing loop detectors and traffic striping.
