Reasons for Exemption
The City of San Diego conducted an environmental review and determined that the project would qualify to be Categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15305 (Minor Alterations In Land Use Limitations). CEQA Section 15305 allows for minor lot line adjustments in areas with average slopes of less than 20% that would not result In changes to land use changes or density. Since the project would only allow the adjustment of a lot line between two existing single-family residences on a site without slopes over 20% In grade and would not change density it was determined that project would qualify for the exemption. The project site has been fully developed and no construction is proposed so the exceptions listed In section 15300.2 do not apply.
