The Project involves the widening and resurfacing of pavement along Thousand Palms Canyon Road, between Ramon Road/Washington Street and Dillon Road. Additional improvements to the road will include constructing pavement transitions, constructing Safety Edge pavement end condition, installing rumble strips, widening paved shoulders, grading dirt shoulders, grading dirt berms, installing and removing signs, and applying traffic striping and thermoplastic pavement markings.
