Document Description
This project will install an iconic sign atop the existing California State Railroad Museum roof. The building is less than 50 years old. The sign is intended to emphasize and promote attention to the Old Sacramento business district which includes Old Sacramento State Historic Park.
The sign will be:
• Mounted to a steel frame structure approximately 20-ft tall x 32-ft wide.
• Installed atop the existing California State Railroad Museum roof, with bolted/fastener
connections to comply with structural stability requirements
• Constructed to direct the night illumination in the direction of southbound Highway 5.
