Document Description
The project proposes reconstruction of the existing pavement and median. Work consists of installing a culvert across the highway, replacing roadside signs, and installing pavement markings, striping, and pavement delineation. The asphalt concrete on the Poso Canal bridge deck would be removed and surface treatment applied overtop. The following would be upgraded: Americans with Disabilities Act ramps, guardrail at Poso Canal on the southbound approach, drainage inlets, intersection signals and lighting, and Transportation Management System elements. The purpose of the project is to restore the existing pavement to a state of good repair, reduce maintenance costs, and improve ride quality for the public.
