Document Description
An out-of-agency domestic water service connection for St. Marie Mobile Home Park. The Mobile Home Park is located on approximately 5.13 acres and has 80 existing mobile home park units. The project consists of decommissioning the existing source (well), installing a 2-inch municipal metered service, and replacing the private distribution system. The project includes replacement of all water mains and residential service connections at the site, as well as installing new service meters at each residence. No new services are planned, only replacement of existing ones. A new 4-inch private main will be installed in the mobile home park with a length of approximately 1,600 feet. There will be 82 new water services connected to the main. In the public right of way (on Hanson Way) a new 2-inch, schedule 80 service line will supply a 2-inch meter to the site. A 4-inch back flow preventor will be installed between the City meter and the new water main just inside the wall along Hanson Way. The project will include asphalt patching of the areas affected by the construction at completion. All construction activities will take place on previously developed land. The municipal service is in the roadway and shoulder area of Hanson Way and the private main and services are in the existing mobile home park paved driveway area. The well to be abandoned is in the rear of the mobile home park in an existing parking lot. The existing private mains and services will be abandoned in place.
