Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-LAN-34662-R5), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Trader Joe's Company, represented by Robert Camarena. The proposed project is a request to construct one industrial building totaling approximately 1,050,000 square feet. The proposed development also includes on- and off-site improvements needed to support the new development, including the installation of curbs, sidewalks, and pavement, installation of parking areas to the north, south, and west of the proposed building, loading and unloading areas along the north and south building elevations, and installation of landscaping and lighting throughout the site. Project-related activities shall result in impacts of no more than 0.89 acres to the streams on site. The habitat types impacted by this Project consists of Nevada joint fir shrubland and rubber rabbitbrush scrub shrubland. These impacts are a result of grading, clearing, disking, grubbing, excavation, trenching, paving, soil compacting, and filling in of Drainage 1, and construction of permanent structures.
