Document Description
Conduct geotechnical investigations at the Owl’s Nest state residence at Point Lobos Ranch Park Property to identify soil conditions to guide the work for the installation of a new foundation system as well as necessary repairs to the existing chimney. Work will use a drill-driven 3” diameter auger to excavate up to four (4) 3’-5’ deep holes to obtain soil samples and use a 1.5” diameter steel probe inserted 5’-10’ deep into the soil, in two different locations, to perform sounding procedures to measure the in-situ soil consistency. Excavated holes will be filled with site-appropriate replacement material.
