Document Description
Replace the deteriorated entrance sign and front kiosk planter box at Butano State Park with a rock pedestal with new sign and a rock planter boarder. Work will:
• Remove the existing entrance sign and planter box;
• Excavate approximately 18 cubic feet of dirt for the planter and sign foundations;
• Pour a rebar-reinforced concrete foundation for the planter box and sign;
• Construct a 1-foot x 1-foot wide stone wall on the same footprint as the old planter box;
• Construct an 8-foot x 2.5-foot x 1-foot stone pedestal for the entrance sign;
• Install a new park sign that matches the form and design of neighboring park signs; and
• Replant the planter with native plants from a nearby native plant nursery.
