Document Description
This proposed project involves construction of a single-family residence with a driveway and includes the installation of a septic system and well with a pumphouse. Other activities include habitat restoration and invasive plant management. The Project will result in impacts to .05 acres of Howell’s spineflower (Chorizanthe howelli) habitat including temporary impacts to 0.03 acres; the Project will permanently remove 0.02 acres of Howell’s spineflower habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of Howell’s spineflower, which is designated as a threatened species under the California Endangered Species Act. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of species listed under CESA that may occur as a result of Project implementation. Project shall provide for both the restoration of 0.21 acres of restorable dune mat habitat, the preservation and enhancement of 0.18 acres of Covered Species habitat, and the permanent protection and management of 0.80 acres and shall restore on-site 0.03 acres of temporary impacted Covered Species habitat.
