Document Description
In support of a proposed project to replace existing changeable message signs (CMS) in Kern County, Caltrans proposes to perform geotechnical boring to assess the subsurface soil structure at two locations on State Route 58 (Cache Creek Scales CMS, PM 81.0; Keene Scales CMS, PM 105.6). One (1) exploratory boring will occur at each location. The maximum depth of the borings will not exceed 60 feet. All work will occur within existing Caltrans right-of-way.
