Document Description
Caltrans District 9 is proposing a project to update landscaping and irrigation systems at the interchange of State Route (SR) 14 and Rosamond Boulevard, in the city of Rosamond. The project will include elements of safety measures and beautification. The interchange will be landscaped with a low maintenance and minimal water use xeriscape theme. All trees, shrubs, roots, and any irrigation line that might get in the way of minor grading activities will be removed. The project will include the placement of an approximately 6-inch blanket of rock over what has traditionally been the landscaped area of the interchange. Opportunities for future community sponsored transportation art will be considered.
