Document Description
Caltrans District 9 is proposing a pavement maintenance project on State Route (SR) 6 in Mono County from postmile (PM) 0.8-4.9 and on SR 168 in Inyo County from PM 30.0-33.5. The project proposes to repair degraded pavement and restore the road to a serviceable condition. The work includes grinding out areas of failed pavement (2"-4" in depth), placing a thin lift (0.15') of HMA (Type A), placing shoulder backing up to 3' from the edge of pavement and restriping the new pavement. All work will be performed within the existing pavement and shoulder backing. No vegetation or dirt will be disturbed outside the existing pavement, shoulder backing, contractor use areas.
