Document Description
The purpose of this project is to complete maintenance of a cattle stock pond located along Kelso Valley Road in eastern Kern County. Approximately four cubic yards of fill from an upland source will be used to fill in the breach. The existing metal culvert will then be cleaned out with hand tools to keep water flowing to its intended location. The project will be completed within a day’s time. The project is exempt because it falls within the CE classes listed above. Proposed activities described above do not have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. A CEQA Project Evaluation Form for the project is on file at the Onyx Ranch State Vehicular Recreation Area resource’s office. No exception to the exemptions applies to this project.
