Document Description
The proposed rule will address federal Nonattainment New Source Review requirements for PM10. The proposed rule is required under the Clean Air Act for all areas with federally designated nonattainment areas. There are two PM10 nonattainment areas within the GBUAPCD, the Owens Valley Planning Area located in Inyo County and the Mono Basin Planning Area located in Mono County. Rule 222 would apply to new major sources or major modifications at existing sources that are located with a PM10 nonattainment area.
