Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2021-0004-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to City of Encinitas. The project is limited to periodic maintenance of an entire concrete-lined detention basin. The basin is 0.37 acres and was constructed in 2003 under Streambed Alteration Agreement #R5-2002-0028. Maintenance will be performed on a routine basis (annually or as needed to reduce flood risk). Project activities include the removal of vegetation and sediment using an excavator, dozer, backhoe/bobcat, dump trucks, and/or hand tools, including shovels.
