The project is limited to the replacement of a culvert located on SR 49. Herbaceous vegetation (predominantly Himalayan blackberry (Rubus armeniacus)) around the inlet and outlet of the culvert will be trimmed level with the ground to provide worker and equipment access. The existing 24-inch diameter by 45-foot-long corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert will be excavated from within the roadway and replaced with a 30-inch diameter by 45-foot-long reinforced concrete pipe culvert. No rock slope protection, headwalls, or flared end sections will be added to the replacement culvert.
