The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has issued this Restoration Management Permit (RMP) pursuant to section 2081(a) of the Fish and Game Code to California Trout, Inc. This Project will remove and replace a concrete box culvert crossing that is a fish passage barrier for southern California steelhead (Oncorhynchus mykiss) on Santa Margarita River and revegetation of the project site with native plant species. The Project is expected to benefit southern California steelhead and least Bell’s vireo (Vireo belli pusillus), referred to as the Covered Species.
