Document Description
The California Department of Transportation, District 4 Maintenance Division is conducting environmental studies for a proposed District Director’s Order (DDO) project to replace the collapsed culvert located on Route 12 at postmile 9.68 in Napa County. This location was being monitored after the October rainstorm and it was concluded a permanent replacement of the culvert is needed to maintain the proper flow of rain. Work includes removing the existing transverse culvert, excavate, pave and reconstruct the shoulder and embankment and restripe. No work will take place outside of the Caltrans right of way (ROW).
